Our return to Zambia was not as we had tried to plan it, but, it was definitely how the Lord had planned it. We had big visions of fundraising trips, being on the ground in Zambia months before we actually got here, and a whole different perspective of who would be supportive of this journey.
The hardest part of the journey was God connecting us with our Church Home in Orlando, Nations Church. I struggled with our home Church being in Orlando, but now I see why Nations Church was such a huge part of our journey back to Zambia.
God not only led us to Nations Church to be our Church Home, Nations was our Church Home where we quickly got submurged and everyone became like family. Dominic quickly joined Nations Youth Culture and Nations Youth Drama. He also jumped right in with volunteering with Nations Tech Team and Nations Children’s Church. He was a volunteer with the children and their Tech Team. I quickly joined the Nation’s Usher Team (under God’s instruction) where I got to work under Steve Booysen the head of the Usher Team and some of the greatest people I have had the pleasure to meet.

We also quickly got involved with Jesus at the Door with Evangelist Scott McNamara. With Jesus at the Door we got to be part of their Evangelism team that ministered to so many in Orlando. Revive New Believers Group is where we discipled the new believers and got to help them develop their relationship with Christ and I was able to be part of their Tent Revival where Jesus at the Door partnered with Eddie James Ministries. We also formed lifelong friends that will continue being like family.
We finally launched on March 16, 2022. We flew from Miami and landed in Lusaka on March 18, 2022. How good it felt to be back in Zambia. We were greeted at the airport by some familiar faces. We spent 3 days in Lusaka gathering necessary supplies, then headed to Chipepo to get settled and start moving forward with the ministry.

We arrived at the house we are staying at 20:00. It was dark, no electricity, but so many familiar faces and some new that were there to help us get situated and settled in for our first night in Chipepo. In the morning we were able to see the house and see that it was just the perfect place for the start of our season here.

There were some delays in getting the new locks installed, which prevented us from being able to leave the house unsupervised but that didn’t stop God. The children came to the house! Every day after school the children came to the house eager to learn. Dominic would bring out the chalk board and help the children with english and tonga translations and would always turn it into a Bible Lesson. The groups of children continued to grow.

We quickly connected with a local Church. The pastors and members of the Church have quickly welcomed us as part of their Church Family. It was very important for us to be connected to a Church Family here in Zambia.
The children’s meetings started and we could not be happier with what God has done with the meetings. The numbers continue to grow at the meetings. Our first meeting at the market we had over 140 attend! God is so faithful.

During our first month of meetings the schools were on break, so we just had our first meeting in the schools. We had 154 students in our first session. 118 of those students gave their lives to Jesus that day!! Halleluiah!! Our Sunday meetings are where we teach the children that are not in school and we can dig in with deeper discipleship with all the children in the community.

It is such a Blessing seeing the joy on the children’s faces as they are singing and learning the Word of God. The added bonus to working with the children is when we meet their parents and other members of the village that are seeing a difference with the children. As we walk to the shops we can hear the children singing the songs from the meetings to their families at home. The children are bringing the Joy of the Lord into their homes and it is beautiful.
We are also hosting a Discipleship meeting once a week where we are working through a Bible Study. We are sharing and pouring into each other, building each other up, and praying for each other with whatever needs may be present. Dominic and the Pastors always end the meeting with a friendly game of Yahtzee.

The people in the village have quickly welcomed Dominic and I into their village and treat us as one of their own. Those that are in need of prayer will come to the house and we will sit and pray. There are those that are just seeking a deeper relationship with Christ and come to learn.

God Blessed us with amazing neighbors. We get to cook together, share recipes, and just do life.
Dominic and I are completely humbled that God chose us to come here to share the Gospel with the children of Chipepo.
Please continue to keep us in prayer as we are pushing forward with weekly school meetings, Sunday discipleship, and weekly Bible Study meetings. We are praying that God’s annointing falls on the curriculum as we continue to prepare it.

Dominic and I would like to invite you to be part of what God is doing here in Zambia. You can partner with us in prayer and financial support. Your prayers and financial support are just as important and have the same eternal impact as the work Dominic and I are doing here in Zambia. Please continue to pray and see how God leads you to join us as we reach the children of Zambia!
