In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. 1 John 4:9-11
The past few months have been so busy and eye opening. As we entered into November there was excitement surrounding what God was doing. This was a Blessed month of Networking, Connecting, Planning and getting back to our regular meetings.

When we were asked to return to Chipepo one thing that was asked of us was to open the door to much needed ministries within Chipepo. November was definitely the start of these doors opening. We have connected with a few ministries that will soon be Blessing the people of Chipepo. Over the next 18 months these ministries will pray and plan and start their training to start joining the move of God here in Chipepo.
Dominic and I also went to Lusaka for our First Thanksgiving in Zambia. We celebrated with a Traditional (Slight Sarcasm here) Thanksgiving Dinner of Lebanese Shawarma, Falafel, Fattoush Salad, and Pie. We were also surprised by some of our CfaN family and friends that were staying at the same lodge as us for training. We were also able to spend time with friends made during the crusade – Pastors, Evangelists and Inspectors. This was a great Blessing and treat for Thanksgiving. Then the night before we returned to Chipepo Evangelist Haggai returned to Zambia after graduating from CfaN Bootcamp! We were able to greet him and welcome him home.

We welcomed December with the rains and plans for our 1st Chipepo Christmas. We enjoyed our children’s meetings as we got to celebrate the various stories of Jesus’ birth throughout the Bible. We got to celebrate Jesus’ Birth all month.

We were able to host a Christmas dinner at our house for friends, neighbors and some of the children in the community. It was such a Blessing to spend this time with them.

On December 30th, it was a great privilege to be invited to be a special guest at the MOTMOT Bible School for the Nations Graduation Ceremony. This group of Pastors and Church Leaders that made it to graduation had really pushed through and persevered. Their studies started prior to Covid 19 lockdowns and they still continued through and pushed through to their graduation. They are all Mighty Men and Women of God.

We traveled to Mazabuka for Crossover. And celebrated the coming of 2023 the way we would always want to celebrate the start of a new year. Worshiping and Praying with your Church family.
2022 was such a Blessing and we are so excited for what God is planning to do in 2023 here in Zambia.

2023 we got to start off with CfaN Evangelist Haggai visiting Chipepo Chiefdom and meeting with the Chief’s Counsel to get permission to have a Crusade in Chipepo Chiefdom. We cannot wait to see what God does here during this crusade.
Dominic and I both had the privilege to be part of the 1st ever Christ For All Nations Evangelism Fire Camp in Africa! We got to train under some Amazing Evangelists and build relationships with our fellow students. Dominic is officially the youngest graduate! The Fire Burning inside each and every graduate for Africa will not be contained. It was an Honor to be part of this group of Firey Evangelists.

Upon our return home from Fire Camp the devastation from the lack of rains in the valley had become evident. Our rainy season was very short lived and our rains had stopped by February. By the time I reached home it was confirmed, less than 15% of the Maize Crops in Chipepo will be harvested this year. We will be facing hunger issues this year.

As soon as I returned home, I started speaking with Chief Chipepo regarding the crops in the valley. During my research I had discovered that Maize never used to be a staple crop here in the valley and they used to grow Millet, Sorghum, and Cassava. All of which are drought resistant plants. The Chief was on board to reintroduce these crops to the Chipepo Chiefdom.
I had the privilege to visit a farm and irrigation project going on in Chirundu and meet with Chief Chipepo at his palace to discuss how to move forward with this initiative.

A few weeks ago I got to sit with all of the Senior Headman of Chipepo Chiefdom and the Chief’s Counsel to discuss a plan on how to reincorporate these drought resistant crops to the people. It was such a blessing to see the enthusiasm of these Senior Headmen to make these changes to better their people.
I also had the privilege to sit with the people of the community we live in where they are all coming together to purchase a transformer to bring electricity to our area. It is such a Blessing to see these people all come together and working together to help develop our community.

This past week we were honored to be invited to our Pastor’s Wedding. We got to be part of their special day and I got to share some words with the guests about the Happy Couple. Also Dominic did not miss an opportunity to Evangelize with the children that were at the wedding.

2023 has only just begun a few months ago and already God has done so much. We are looking forward to all God has in store for us in the upcoming months. We are currently looking forward to: Land to be Finalized, Recon Team’s Arrival, Vehicle Arrival, Friend’s Weddings, Farming God’s Way Projects, and the building of our Ministry Center! Continue to keep us covered in prayer!
