Updates Coming!

We arrived home safely last Tuesday night. We hit the ground running with school registration the following morning, back to school shopping and First Day of 4th Grade Friday. We took one day to just unwind and back to school and work this past Monday.

I managed to download all of the pictures from the trip and I will start posting this week!!

Have a Blessed Day!

Chipepo – quick update

So we are coming to the end of our first week on the Chipepo Base.

We are sharing with the women’s group about Evangelizing and sharing the Gospel.

We got to go back to Sinafala and follow up with the village after our expedition. It was truly a blessing to be back to follow up with the people of Sinafala.

Dominic and I were able to reach out and follow up with one of the Pastors.  Then we were able to do some Children’s Ministry.

We shared the Gospel and various Bible stories. The kids really seemed interested in Noah’s story. Specifically the fact that God sent the rains to wash away and rid the earth of the evil.

Dominic then led 3 kids to Christ.

After that we were able to dismiss age old Zambian superstition. The kids eyes truly looked like they opened a little wider.

Then the best thing ever happened. Dominic has been praying for rain since we got here. Last night and through this morning it rained!! It never rains in July in Zambia! Dominic wad dancing in the rain celebrating God’s Miracle!

Will update more later!20180705_170540.jpg

Expedition in Sinafala

Over 1,500 ministered to! Over 300 Salvations! Over 150 Healings!

God did amazing things during our time ministering in Sinafala.

Within the first 20 minutes of our arrival Dominic was already connecting with the children.

Within a few days all of the children within Sinafala knew Dominic’s name.

We are continuing with ministry within Chipepo throughout July. Cannot wait to share the details of the trip.

Will do a more detailed update on the expedition portion as soon as I can.

God is Amazing!

So this is my first chance to for a quick update.

We arrived in Livingstone, Zambia on June 19. On June 20 we had a day at Rapids 14 to prepare for our expedition to Sinafala.

The team decided to hike down the gorge that day. The team was not sure Dominic would be able to handle the hike.  He was determined that in God’s Strength nothing was impossible! He totally amazed me with how he handled the hike down and back up from the gorge.

We are heading to minister at a women’s group, I will update about the Amazing things God is doing in Sinafala tonight!

JFK to Africa tomorrow!

Well, we landed in N.Y. safely yesterday.  We got to spend some time with family. Today Dominic got to go on the L.I.R.R. for the first time. He experienced the craziness of the Subway and really enjoyed the sites and food!!! It was a great way to spend some quality time together before our Journey to Africa!!

We are super blessed. Last Wednesday the Church prayed for  our safe travels.

Friday we got to go to dinner with friends and enjoy our last night in Florida for a while.  ❤ you guys!

Saturday morning we got a ride to the airport (really early!! Thank you for driving us!) Dominic was a little nervous since it was his first flight since he was a baby. So Blessed we ran into part of our Freedom Family and Dominic actually sat with his friend and it helped him to get over his flying jitters!!

We arrived in N.Y. and we were able to surprise my Niece and Nephews!!

Today we got to play tourist in the City.  Dominic experienced his first train ride, subway ride, central park zoo and all the sites between there and Penn Station. The little guy had such a good time.

I even had so many memories come back to me as we stood under the train board as we waited for our track to be posted.

We are currently on the L.I.R.R. heading back to the Island for the evening, car service gets to us early in morning for our flight, we will have to battle rush hour traffic.

We did have a guy in Penn Station as he came behind us stopped and prayed and continued on his way. We have been so Blessed with everyone’s prayers for our Journey. I am super excited to see what God has planned for us.

Continue to keep us in prayer!! Will post as soon as we can!!

9 Days and 9 Hours!!

9 Days and 9 Hours!

We are in the final stretch before our journey begins!

Packing lists are being created, shopping trips are being planned, organizing pick ups of supplies needed to be brought to Zambia.  The excitement is building and God is sharing glimpses of things He has planned for us during this journey.  We are definitely not letting little things like growth spurts and needing to buy new gear hold us back or cause us to lose focus.

Please keep us in prayer leading up to our trip and until we return home.  We are still praying for the last few hundred dollars needed to be fully funded for the trip.  We are also praying for smooth flights and no complications at the airports.  We are believing God is going to do amazing things while we are in Zambia.

We cannot wait to share this adventure with all of you! Thank you so much for keeping us in your prayers.

Soccer Balls Needed!!

Soccer Balls Needed!!

We received word this morning from our Team Leaders in Zambia that they do not have any Soccer Balls left to distribute in Zambia.  Soccer Balls may seem like a silly request but it is a great tool to build relationships with the local tribes.  The teams will have a friendly game of soccer during the periods they are with the Tribes ministering to them and before the team leaves the area they like to gift the Tribe with the Soccer Ball.  In many villages the kids will make their own Soccer Balls out of whatever material they can find.  It is a Blessing to gift them with a real Soccer Ball.

Please let me know if you are able to donate a Soccer Ball or two!!  It would be a Huge Blessing to so many!!

Thank You!!
