The Journey Begins – Zambia 2018

Thanks for joining us on our journey!

I still cannot believe how quickly this trip is approaching.  The time leading up to this journey has been filled with so many ups and downs and various paths placed in front of us.  It is amazing how easy it is to trust in God and step in Faith when He has placed the right path before you and you believe in His Faithfulness.

How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed?  And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard?  And how shall they hear without a preacher?  And how shall they preach unless they are sent? — Romans 10: 14,15

Dominic and I will arrive in Africa on June 19 and join our team to start our journey to Livingstone, Zambia.  We will spend a short period of time in Livingstone at Rapids 14 before heading to Chipepo for for the start of our expedition.

While on our expedition we will journey to remote villages to minister and serve the villages of Chipepo, Zambia.  We will focus on evangelism and discipleship as we preach the Gospel and strengthen the local Church.  Our team will be a part of Overland Missions’ vision of sector management, pioneering into new regions, building lasting relationships, and empowering the indigenous Church to reach their own people.

Following our 2 week expedition we will be staying in Chipepo at the Overland Sector Base run by the Krenz Family.  We will remain on this base for 30 days and assisting any way that we can.  The beginning of August we will spend our last few days in Zambia at Overland’s Rapids 14.  We cannot wait to see what God has planned for us!!
